Where were you when Tickle Me Elmo hits the shelves? Were you at home unaware of the mania that would soon ensue? Many Americans were living quiet lives not knowing what or who would cause a craze that is still being talked about ten years later.
Well, it has been ten years. It would be cool to know what those preschoolers of yesteryear are doing with those Tickle Me Elmos now that they are teenagers. Some probably still have their Tickle Me Elmos. It is not improbable, unlikely, or out of the question. I know kids from the 1980s that still are holding on to their Cabbage Patch Doll and do not ever plan on letting it go.
So I say hold on to your Tickle you Elmo as long as he tickles your fancy.
