Happy Cinco de Mayo.  Here is an older Sesame Street video that shows children celebrating Cinco de Mayo festivities in Mexico.     The video shows a mariachi band and children singing along towards the end.

Cinco de Mayo, which literally means “Fifth of May” in Spanish, celebrates the Mexican army defeating the French  at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War.   The holiday, especially in the United States, is less about celebrating the battle and more about celebrating Mexican culture.
