This year, the Diamond Jubilee year, marked the 60th anniversary of the Queen Elizabeth II of England ascending to the throne.   Many things have been done to mark the event, like concerts and celebrity performances.  Before the year comes to a close a Winnie the Pooh tree planting ceremony was conducted to mark the Diamond Jubilee year.  The event was attended by members of  the Aldenham Country Park Trust.  Winnie the Pooh fans may already know the Aldenham Country Park, located in Hertfordshire, England, already includes a touch of Pooh.    There is a location in the park called the “100 Aker Wood” that features different areas that are made to look like objects and homes that are in the Winnie the Pooh stories.
