What would be a parade with the gigantic balloons? Hollywood’s annual Christmas Parade had just that- and plenty of them. Sesame Street’s Elmo was one of those gigantic balloons that floated in the parade. Along with Elmo some other Sesame Street veteran Muppets could be seen floating in the sky: Oscar the Grouch and Kermit the Frog. This year’s parade was Grand Marshaled by Marie Osmond. Hosting the television broadcast of the parade was Eric Estrada and Laura McKenzie. Also on hand to host the musical portion of the parade was Dean Cane This year’s Hollywood Christmas Parade benefitted the Toys for Tots organization.
