Elmo was on the CBS to discuss several topics, including the special that will appear this week on PBS discussing the tough economic times that many American families are experiencing. While there he was asked about the public safety announcements he made about the slowing the spread of the flu by practicing proper hygiene. He also was given an invitation to co-host with Bob Scheiffer, an offer he kindly accepted after Scheiffer agreed to appear on Sesame Street.
