Hershey’s Chocolate World is getting a new 4D attraction this May that features work from Jim Henson’s Creature shop. For those that are familiar with Sesame Street history, you know that Jim Henson’s Creature shop is responsible for creating many of the Muppets like Elmo, Big Bird, Miss Piggy, Kermit the Frog, and other wonderful characters. The Jim Henson’s Creature Shop has also created animated shows and characters and now they are taking their skills to create a live animated interactive show at Hershey’s Chocolate World in Hershey, Pennsylvania. With the help of Ty Granaroli of Granaroli Design & Entertainment and Jim Henson’s Creature Shop guests to Hershey’s Chocolate World will now get to be a part of Hershey’s Great Chocolate Factory Mystery in 4D.
Hershey’s Great Chocolate Factory Mystery in 4D will features three of the popular characters Hershey, Reese and Kiss as they go on an adventure. It is promised that there are potentially over 100 outcomes because the show will use audience participation to determine different turns the story will take. Although characters are animated they will be controlled by puppeteers.
Along with Hershey’s Great Chocolate Factory Mystery in 4D, there are several other attractions at Hershey’s Chocolate World like Hershey’s Great American Chocolate Tour, Hershey’s Really Big 3D Show, Hershey’s Chocolate Tasting Adventure, Hershey Trolley Works, Hershey’s Kisses Packaging attraction, and Hershey’s Photo Bar Wrapper.
Admission to Hershey’s Chocolate World is free and guests get free samples chocolates. However most of the attractions require visitors to purchase a ticket.
