Several animated movies have become box office successes, and have created a dynasty of blockbuster success. One of the those to go on the list is the Madagascar series, which includes Madagascar, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, and Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted.
We first begin with a group centers around a group of zoo animals from New York City that is trapped on the island of Madagascar. The second install begins with them traveling for Madagascar to mainland Africa. In the third installment, the group is in Europe as they continuing their attempt to get back to New York.
Movie viewers will be able to recognize the voices behind the animated characters. Ben Stiller is the voice behind Alex the lion. Stiller is known for his comedic roles in movies like “Something About Mary” “Night at the Museum” and the Meet the Parents series. Veteran actors in the movie include Jada Pinkett-Smith, who was one the 90’s comedy “A Different World” and “Dr. Doolittle 2”, is the voice behind Gloria the Hippo. Chris Rock, the voice of Marty the Zebra, was producer and inspiration for the sitcom “Everybody Hates Chris”, and he also was on Saturday Night Live for many years. David Schwimmer, Melman the giraffe, is well known for his role of Ross on “Friends”. Sacha BaronCohen is King Julien. Comedian Cedric the Entertainer is Maurice. There are other famous voices that can be heard in the 3 Madagascar movies.
