On the way to the hospital, which happened to be 15 minute away, Mandy Lambert surprisingly gave birth to a baby boy. Her mother-in-law was driving her and according to the mom she left the house as soon as labor started. This was her third pregnancy and her third go around with labor and therefore Lambert thought she had enough time to get to the hospital before her baby’s debut into the world. However her son Riken Drake had other plans. Riken was born in the front seat of his grandmother’s car after Lambert felt the need to push.
Baby and mom were able to make it to the hospital with umbilical cord still attached. They are home now and have a unique birth story to tell.
