It is of no surprise to viewers that Nickelodeon has ordered more episodes of Dora the Explorer. 20 new episodes of the show have been ordered for next season. Dora the Explorer is not the only popular preschool show that has been ordered by Nickelodeon.
Nickelodeon has put in its request for several preschool shows. Some are new to the Nickelodeon network this season and others are shows that have been around for several different seasons. Among the shows are: Team Umizoomi, which teaches children many different math concepts; Bubble Guppies, a new musical show that teaches many different kindergarten readiness concepts; Dora the Explorer, a classic show that teaches many different preschool skills and Spanish; The Fresh Beat Band, a fairly new show that teaches music appreciation ; Yo Gabba Gabba! ; Max and Ruby ; and Olivia.
