Sesame Street’s 42nd Sesame returns this September with more additions. This year you see more emphasis on science, technology, engineering, and math. For years experts have said that children in the United States are lagging behind in science, math and the related subject areas. Now Sesame Street seems to want to spark the interest of children at a young age.

One way the Sesame Street will present science is with a new segment called “Murray’s Science Experiments” During this segment Murray will be investigating the world around him. Of course there will be the return of previous segments like Grover 2.0, Elmo’s World, and Abby’s Flying Fairy School with Abby Cadabby.

Another thing that Sesame Street will continues are the appearances of guest stars. Among those said to make appearances this season are:
