Over the years Sesame Street has not only helped children with some topics to get them ready for school, but they have also focused on getting them ready for a healthy life. One of those topics covered how to be physically healthy. They have joined First Lady Michelle Obama in her “Let’s Move” campaign. There are two new PSAs (Public Service Announcements) that promote healthy eating and staying active. Big Bird appears along with Michelle Obama in both PSAs.
These are campaign messages that Sesame Street can certainly endorse. As you can remember from the recent Presidential campaigns that Sesame Street had to politely ask the Obama campaign camp to not use Big Bird or anything Sesame Street related in any of their political campaign. No matter what your political affiliation, no one can question that eating right and exercising is great for everyone.
