Sesame Street took home eight Daytime Emmy awards from last week’s Emmy Awards ceremony. Going into the ceremony, Sesame Street had 16 nominations. Some included multiple nominations for in a single category.
Sesame Street’s eight wins also made PBS the television station with the highest amount of Emmy award wins. PBS took the number one spot with 14 Emmy wins, ABC was number two with 13 wins, and CBS was number three with 12 wins.
