MarcoBot, a manufacturer of 3D printers, has been licensed to provide files of several Sesame Street characters that you can use to create 3D figures. These are files that will be downloaded from their online store, but not all characters are currently available. The first character they have for purchase is Mr. Snufflufagus. Snuffy, as most Sesame Street fans know, is Big Bird’s best friend. You can get the Snuffy file for $1.29.
According to information at, https://digitalstore.makerbot.com/mr-snuffleupagus, the 3D Snuffleupagus takes 2 hours and 52 minutes to complete printing. It is also noted on the web page that the figure is not a toy.
Of course you will need to have more than a $1.29 file to get a 3D printing of Snuffy; you will also need to have access to as 3D printer. MakerBot sells 3D printers, and according to their website, the prices range from $1,375 to $6,499. Not all of their printers are compatible with Snuffy file. The Replicator 2 and Replicator (Fifth Generation Model) are the only printers listed as compatible with the file.
You are not limited to having to own a MakerBot printer. You can also visit one of their stores to have 3D image printed for you. You will have to contact the stores to find out the actual of having a figure printed in the store. They currently have stores in New York, New York; Boston, Massachusetts; and Greenwich, Connecticut.
