Sesame Street program may have started in the United States, but its reach has grown as it has expanded into countries across the world. India’s version of Sesame Street, Galli Galli Sim Sim, premiered in India in 2006 and now airs on 3 of the nations stations.
They have extended the reach of Galli Galli Sim Sim to apps that parents can purchase for different devices. According to Medianama.com, there are new apps being released in Hindi for the from the Microsoft app store, and the Nokia store and the Microsoft marketplace. The apps also have an English version.
