Yeah, you read that right. February 15, 2012 was declared Sesame Street Live Day in Detroit. The wife of Detroit mayor, Dave Bing, made the public declaration as she handed out complimentary tickets to a Sesame Street Live performance in the city. Mrs. Bing was scheduled give away the tickets for “Elmo’s Healthy Heroes”, the performance where Elmo and his Sesame Street friends show Super Grover how to be healthy.
