PortAventura is a theme park in Spain.   The park will be opening a Sesame Street themed area this April.  Sesame Street is known all over the globe and children, wherever the shows are broadcast, love the Muppets on Sesame Street.   Sesame Street characters have been a part of the amusement park for the last several years, but now they will be joined with a designated area of Sesame Street rides and attractions.  The new area, Sésamo Aventura, is special kids and family fun area. 

In Spain Sesame Street is called Barrio Sésamo.  The show includes some of the Muppets from the American version of Sesame Street along with some characters native Barrio Sésamo.
