After several years of not seeing the Muppets on the big screen, The Muppets movie made its debut last November. Now without skipping a beat they are working a on a sequel to their $88 million box office success, The Muppets. The movie reunited Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Animal, Fozzie Bear and other Muppet characters. The Muppets have made it way back on top in Pop Culture and are not letting any of that momentum disappear before they release their next movie. No official word on when the next Muppet movie will be released. It was said that it took 5 years to make the 2011 The Muppets movie. It will probably take less time for the sequel – I hope.
