According to a CNN.com article, researchers have found that women who gain weight after the delivery of a baby are more likely to develop gestational diabetes in their next pregnancy.  Gestational diabetes is diabetes that develops during pregnancy and goes away after the birth of the baby.  Babies born to women with gestational diabetes have the risks of having a high birth rate, low blood sugar, or breathing problems.
