A.A. Milne was born January 18, 1882. His legacy and name live on because of the adorable and hugely entertaining Pooh Bear that he created for his son’s enjoyment. Milne was born in London, England and his creation of Winnie the Pooh has stretched across the globe. Pooh and the many characters from the Hundred Acre woods have been etched into the hearts of generations of kids and adults. Milne published several books including Winnie-the-Pooh and The House on Pooh Corner.
