Since 1984 people have gathered to play the game Poohsticks. This year’s event was completed successfully; last year the competition had to be canceled due to high water levels. The event was able to raise a couple thousand dollars for a local charity. According to the BBC contestants came from New Zealand, Germany, and the Netherlands to participate in the Oxfordshire, England game of Poohsticks.
