September 25th is the Seventh Annual Worldwide Day of Play. This is a day for kids and their families to get off the couch and away from of all those electronic devices that keep them busy but physically inactive. During the day children are encouraged to go outside and play. From noon to 3 p.m. during that day Nickelodeon stations will not air their shows. Before and after that time Nickelodeon shows will broadcast. Big Time Rush will be the ones to turn off the Nickelodeon shows, while True Jackson VP star Keke Palmer will turn the show back on. So while those shows are off don’t just switch to another station, try to think of some fun outside events for you and your kids to do that day.
