Tinker Bell will be getting her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Having a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been an honor for entertainers have enjoyed for years. Usually, it is real life individuals, but there have been characters that have had an impact in entertainment that has received their own star. Tinker Bell is not the first character to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She joins Big Bird, Bugs Bunny, Donald Duck, Godzilla, Kermit the Frog, Mickey Mouse, Rugrats, Shrek, The Simpsons, Snow White, Winnie-the-Pooh, and Woody Woodpecker.
Tinker Bell is known for her supporting role in Peter Pan. She has recently appeared with many of her fairy friends in the Disney Fairies movies. Her walk of fame star will coincide with the release of Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue on DVD on September 21, 2010.
