On the December 1st the White House held the National Tree Lighting ceremony. On hand was a few different celebrities and legendary Muppet: Kermit the Frog. Kermit the Frog sat along with First Michelle Obama as she read “Twas the Night Before Christmas” to a group of children. Other Muppets have been at the White House for several different ceremonies; Elmo was there for the National Easter Egg Roll both this year and last with some of his other Sesame Street friends.
