We should be seeing a new Muppet’s movie in theaters , this time around it will be the Sesame Street Muppets. According to the Hollywood Reporter,20th Century Fox has purchased the movie rights to the next Sesame Street movie. Veteran Sesame Street writer, Joey Mazzarino will be writing the screenplay for the movie. Specifics about the title or the potential release date for the film because it is still in the beginning stages.
We just saw some other Muppets on the big screen in the movie “The Muppets”, which is now available on DVD and Blu-ray Disc. The movie was a box office success and now there are now plans for a sequel. 20th Century Fox is probably hoping that their Sesame Street movie will meet a similar success in the theaters.
