Census in Schools is aimed at teaching school children about the United States’ census.

Census in Schools gives schools a wide range of free, optional, standards-based lesson plans on subjects related to the census, ranging from math to social studies. The program is designed for students in kindergarten through 12th grade and will reach all 118,000 schools and 56 million students nationwide.

Members of the Sesame Street family- Count von Count (The Count) and Rosita- will be in at Nova Blanche Forman Elementary School in Davie, Florida to help with the Census in Schools program.

Sesame Street has partnered with many different government groups to help promoted good health, and learning with the government several times over the years.
