You may have heard the message about brushing twice a day and flossing regularly, but the oral health of many of America’s children reflect that they are not practice those dental recommendations.     The Partnership for Healthy Mouths, Healthy Lives is teaming up with the Ad Council to create a kid’s dental health campaign called Kid’s Healthy Mouths, which educates children and their parents about how to keep their teeth and gums healthy by brushing twice a day for 2 minutes.   Ads will include some well not characters from animations and children shows.  Elmo will be included as he sings a catchy song to remind children how important it is to brush their teeth.   Sesame Street also has an oral health campaign called Healthy Teeth, Healthy Me.   The campaign includes the distribution of several oral health educational kits and multimedia information.  Kid’s Healthy Mouths will also being using several different ways to reach both children and their parents.   You can go to their YouTube channel, http://www.youtube.com/2min2x ,to view for information and view the ads.
