Over the last month controversy has followed Kevin Clash, the voice behind Elmo. Now the famous puppeteer has decided that it is best for him to resign from his position at Sesame Street. Sesame Workshop has said that Elmo will continue, and that he is more just one person. Clash has been a part of Sesame Street for over 28 years and served as both Muppet Captain and co-executive producer of Sesame Street. Although Sesame Street will be able to move on without Clash, they have said that they are saddened.
